Note about Puppy Scammers and Puppy Mills

Scammers:  Do not send your money to someone that you might think is posing as me.  Before you send your money, verify that you have the correct person.  Call me and talk to me in person.  Puppy Scammers are rampant.  When you Venmo me money - make sure you are sending the money to the correct person -  so VERIFY the spelling and use my phone number when sending.  Also when the puppies arrive, I will Facetime with you, talk with you, send you videos of the puppies, and you are allowed to come for a visit.  Just be very aware that puppy scammers can copy pictures off my website and act like they are me.  DO NOT BE SCAMMED!  Updated 10-24-23 - I have had people attempt to scam me off my AKC Marketplace site.  They are trying to get my information about my puppies and act as me.  Again - I will talk to you, Facetime with you, send you multiple pictures and videos (always ask for NEW pictures and Videos that you have not seen on the web).  Scammers can copy anything that has been on the web.  Please be very careful.  To avoid scammers - I will always talk to you on the phone.  I will require much information from you and you also need to talk to me.  Scammers - I do not take zelle transfers, or someone else posing to pick up the puppy - any of that- so don't even try.

Puppy Mills / Internet Puppy Sites:  Buyer Beware -

Pet stores and some "on-line pet sales stores/sites" do not want people to realize that at least 95% of their puppies are born in puppy mills, infamous for the cruel treatment of dogs. Purchasers of puppy-mill pups often pay a very high price both financially and emotionally when they discover their new pet comes to them with an illness or congenital defect. Do not deal with anyone who breeds more than two breeds. Recommend not dealing with internet sites that sell a bunch of different breeds.  You should be speaking specifically with the breeder directly.   A breeder should encourage you to visit where their puppies are raised.  A breeder should allow faceTime type visits over the phone.  Ask to see the parents of the puppies.  Ask for the PWDCA recommended Testing evidence that has been completed on the parents.  You need to see the DNA testing evidence of both parents.  Ask the breeder about the possibility of an "Improper Coat" - must have the DNA results of both parents to cross to see the results.   Make sure the breeder talks to you to make sure you are a fit for the puppy / breed.  Make sure the Breeder is not trying to push the sale of the puppy on you.  Better to be safe than sorry.  If you don't want to get a puppy from me in the area that I am in then let me help you find a reputable breeder in the area where you are located.  I do make arrangements with puppy parents that have a distance to travel - we work this out.   Again - do NOT support Puppy Mills that treat animals cruel.
