Care of theDog:

  • This is a working dog andwill need plenty of exercise. It requires a time commitmentand exercise commitment. If the Buyer can't commit to the timeneeded and the exercise needed for the dog, then the prospectivebuyer should not get this breed. The Buyer should alsoprovide numerous toys – suggestions West Paw brand, Benebone, andBenebone type. Also get large knotted ropes to clean teeth and playtug-of-war. The dog will be VERY active as a puppy and then as itages, it will calm down.

  • Regular Veterinary care for thepuppy – keeping it up-to-date on all vaccinations needed, wormprevention, flea/tick prevention.

    • Upon puppy delivery the PuppyOwner needs to take the puppy to their own Veterinarian for checkout and to set up the series of shots. You are agreeing to takethe puppy after pick up to your Veterinarian within 3 working days.

    • Puppies should NOT be aroundother dogs (or where other dogs have eliminated) until they areabout 20 weeks old and have been fully vaccinated.

Regular Grooming Needs – This dog has hair and not fur. Therefore, it will have to be clipped. The owner can learn how to do this or take the puppy to a groomer. (Suggest Andis UltraEdge Professional Clippers – comes with a 10 blade but also invest in a 30 blade.) If your dog gets matted, do not try to cut the mat away with scissors – the scissors can pull the skin into the scissors and you can cut the dog. Using clippers is the safest way to cut away matted hair.

  • Training the puppy. This breed isa highly intelligent breed. You are agreeing to take on training yourself or send it to a training facility.

  • Humane environment – the puppy owner will provide a clean and humane environment for the puppy/dog. It is highly recommended that this Hypoallergenic dog be keptindoors.

  • Crate Training – for the first year to potty train the dog.

  • Saylor has had OFA testing completed on her hips/elbows and has been declared that they are good for breeding. These test results will also be provided tothe Buyer.

    • neglect and/or injury from the new puppy owner (the Buyer(s))
